......when you have more books in you TBR pile than channels on your T.V.

When you go to the grocery store and walk out with at least one book off the book rack.

When there's always a book in your hands or laying no father than three feet from your body.

When you desperately search for a misplaced book at least twice a week and pray to St. Anthony to find it.

When you keep a multi paged printed out grocery list of books you want to buy in your purse at all times.

When the concept of leaving the house without a book is inconceivable.  What if there is a reading emergency?

If you understand what a reading emergency is.

When packing for a weekend trip requires a separate bag for your books.

When you take both paperbacks and your Nook on vacation.

When the staff at B&N greats you like a friend and the Starbucks barista there starts making your drink before you order it.

If you buy purses base only on if they will hold your NOOK or a paperback.

You can't leaving B&N without at least one new book in your hand.

Tuesdays are the most exsiting day of the week.

...the employees of the three B&N stores within 15 miles of your house are on a first name basis with you.

...you have a library in your house instead of a formal living room.

...you put protective covers on every book you buy as soon as you get them home (even the paperbacks).

...you go out to buy much needed clothes, get distracted by the B&N storefront, and go in and spend your clothes money on books instead.

...you also buy an ereader or three so you can carry as many books with you as you want at all times without worrying about damaging your precious hardcovers.

You tell your significant others diamonds won't do..only B&N cards!!!

You spend half your day scanning for books, new releases and free eBooks and the other half reading.

You would rather read then go shopping..unless its for books

You're on a first name basics with the librarians and all the employees at B&N.

If you go away for a week the manager of B&N calls to check if you are OK.

I KNOW!  I think the sales people thought I was stealing or something cause I kept trying them out to see if I could zip or close the purse with the NOOK in there.  

And I thought of another....

.....you hate to lend books to friends cause they leave those annoying creases in the spine of your books!

And if you know exactly which books of yours each friend has, how long they have had it, and roughly what place they are at in their reading of the book, not to mention the normal condition they have returned pass borrowed books in.

You know your a bookaholic when...

• You've added all of your favorite author's websites to your "favorites" bar (all computers-work & home)
• You've Facebook "Liked" as many books or authors as you can just so you can get updates...like the favorites bar isn't enough!
• When you go to B&N/Walmart/Target, etc... you smell all the new books and for some reason you get the urge to whisper "my precioussss..." Unfortunately unlike Lord of the Rings you do not disappear so you are left there smelling a book and looking like a crazy person.

Omg..i can't stop laughing reading these..the amount of them that are true and apply to me..scares me!!!
