Great interview. I must say, I really enjoy reading the B&N Review. I find the reviews, articles, and interviews to be very well done. Thanks B&N!

I found the interview to be very enlightening as well. So interesting how the novel came about with little bits of info gathered here and there. A question that was preying on my mind while reading POTB was answered by the interview as well. I was interested in knowing if GB had written the book straight through from cover to cover or did she write the vignettes first. Turns out she had written at least two vignettes before joining them with Hannah's story. Marvelous read! Entertaining and sophisticated.
