Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

We are a big bag of mixed religions here. All trying to understand each other more. Just be polite.

If you want to see the only time a Christian made a post nasty toward us Pagans look here

young witch
As you can see the poster apologized and was just ignorant and uniformed originally.

Lot's of pagans and Wiccans about, you're in good company.

We have the same religion "heart"..I'm a REFORMED BAPTIST....

Wow, everyone here seems to be pagan..what is that, may I ask?

A good question. I would like to learn more about pagans and Wiccans. Maybe we could start a thread on those religions and maybe some of the knowledgeable members could suggest a good introductory book.

If there is a thread you'd guys like to see, I'd really encourage one of you to start it yourselves!  :smileyhappy: I'm not an expert in everything, or much at all for that matter.

Tony Blair on his faith.

Folks here may be interested in this comprehensive interview with ex Prime Minister Tony Blair on how his faith affected his decision on invading Iraq and many other things.  There are also some insights into the different attitudes of the British and Americans towards religion,  and he talks of the difficulties of becoming a catholic  whilst he was in office.  I hope you can pick this up on the BBC Iplayer.

Personally I'd like to see more books from Josh McDowell and  Frank Peretti.  And also, more Christian books of all types.

Re: What do YOU want out of the Religion & Spirituality board?

I would like to see discussions about the Bible, an ongoing discussion about the books in the Bible all the way down to verses. I like to discuss Jesus and his time on earth, discuss God, I like to discusss the timelines in the Bible etc... Most of all I would like it to be a positive discussion.
