My wife's nook has developed a split in the plastic on the right side where you page forward. This has been caused by constantly pressing it there. Has anyone else had this problem? Customer service was great and are sending a new one, but after 6 months of use this should not be happening.

Mine did too !! I got mine for Valentines day and he bought the accidental coverage for it... I just wonder if I replace it now and it happens again in the future do we get penalized for TOO MANY damages?

The accident replacement coverage will not be used for this button crack problem.
It will be replaced under your regular warranty.
Call them up, they will arrange a cross-shipment. You will not be stuck without your nook.
