Fever series by Karen Marie Moning

I just got the first two books in the series from the library after listening to the first chapter podcast from Karen's website.  I know the third book will be out on the 16th of this month and I was wondering what others think of this series.  I could not get into her Highlander series but am really enjoying this series.  Please let me know if you are posting spoilers since I'm not through with the books yet.

I really like the Fever series and am waiting impatiently for Faefever. However I really like her Highlander series as well.

I haven't tried Fever series yet, hopefully reviews are good.  I'm on 2nd book from Highlander series and I'm really enjoying it, I love Grimm.  The 1st book slow start but turned out to be a good read.

If you get a chance you should read them.  They were great from the start.  Over the weekend I finished both Darkfever and Bloodfever and now waiting for the library to get there copy of Faefever so I can read it.  I really like Mac she is not sure what is going on with her but sure doesn't back down from what happens.  I love the loyalty she has for her family.  I hope she gets close to her parents again.  I will just have to wait and see where the story goes.

I'm happy to have found this board.  I've been sticking mostly to the First Look Board.  I've read the first 2 books and am planning to continue.

Debbie, Hi. I have read the first three of the Fever series. I am now reading the last one that is available.

I see that there will be one more called Shadowfever. It should be interesting to find out what happens to MacKayla and the rest of the characters.

dhaupt, I am getting into Dreamfever. I also see that there will be a fifth one. It is called Shadowfever. I am not sure where is is coming out.

I am hoping that Mac will survive and find love.

Hi Everyone - AnneB here - I have Dreamfever in my TBR pile, but other books keep jumping ahead of it. I'm not sure why, except that when I finished the last book, I was annoyed with the ending - I'm still trying to figure out why I feel this way, but I'm open to suggestions...I really loved KMM's Highlander series, but I don't have the same feelings about the Fever series...maybe it's me... Thoughts anyone ?????

Hi Anne,

When I finished reading the first in the Fever series I was also a bit disappointed and I think my problem was that I was expecting a romance with a definite ending to the book and when I didn't get that it made me mad.

But then I got over myself and decided to enjoy it for what it was, a great paranormal adventure with some unlikely heros. Plus Karen assures us that Mac will have her happy ending, at least I'm almost sure I read that in one of her newsletters. So I just enjoy the ride, and what a ride it's been.
