Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Kerrekyn Sparks Love Ar Stake series

The other day at my local used bookstore I found books 2, 4, and 6 in Kerrelyn's series and I am wondering if you have to read the books in order or if it matters at all how they are read.  I am the type of person that needs to read series in the correct order but they look like such fun reads that I would like to read what I have but not if I am going to be missing any of the story line.  Can anyone help me out?

Re: Kerrekyn Sparks Love Ar Stake series

I have read all of the Love at Stakes books and there are absolutely delightful!  I am a series freak too and i alway have to start at the beginning but with this one you can start almost anywhere.  A lot of the characters are reoccuring so you get a little history as you go, but Kerrelyn Sparks does a really great job filling in the blanks if you are not completely familiar with the other novels...But i highly recommend you going out and buying the first one "How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire"....its a riot!  I mean seriously...who has heard of a vampire needing to have his fang fixed?? HAHA!

For now...pick up that book and star reading!
