Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

I am currently reading a book way down on my huge (but not as big as Becke's) TBR pile, The Healer by Sharon Sala, great choice by the way. It's incredible and I've never read her, oh boy I see my pile growing.

I'm going back and rereading some of Karen Rose's early books.  Right now, it's this one:

I've read quite a few of her books.  There was one I didn't like as well as the others (can't remember which it was), but for the most part, I think she's a great writer.

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Hi, I am currently reading several books. I am reading the second in Heather Graham's Deadly series-Deadly Harvest. I am reading Kay Hooper's Blood Sins. I have started Danielle Stell's new book-One Day at a Time. I also have Richard North Patterson's new book- Eclispe to finish.

This is not counting many others that I am going to read. My TBR list jsut keeps growing and I can't keep up. Oh, well. At least I have a TBR list and I am thankful for all the good books out there to be read. I want to thank all the authors who write these very enjoyable stories for us book junkies. I sometimes wonder how they do it. I can only say that God has given them a talent and we are so lucky that they share it with us.

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Didn't get much sleep last night (a common occurrence) because I made the mistake of starting Christina Dodd's Danger in a Red Dress in the evening.  Had to stay up to finish it.

I loved it, as I've loved all of them, but in hindsight, I think I would have liked this series better if I'd read them one after the other.  Every time a new one comes out, it takes me 100 pages or so to remember how it ties in with the earlier books.

Now reading Nicole Jordan's To Romance a Charming Rogue.  I didn't think I'd read anything of hers, but so many things referred to in the book sound familiar, I think I must have read at least one or two that preceded it.

By the way, big mistake:  I subscribed to Romantic Times magazine.  That alone is going to double my TBR pile.

Of course! In my opinion, Lisa Kleypas hasn't written a bad book yet!

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

I am reading "Maverick" by Lora Leigh. I am not loving it, but it is good for it's genre- erotic romance suspense. I think I've just kind of glutted on alpha male/victim heroine romances, especially those heavy on the sex.Maverick

Bonnie, have you read other Lora Leigh books and liked them? Is it just this one that isn't exciting you?

[ Edited ]

Bonnie -- I liked Maverick, but I thought Wild Card was one of Lora Leigh's best books.

Right now, I'm reading a reissue of an old Suzanne Brockmann book:

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone,

Becke, I had the same problem you did (my eyes are being held open with toothpicks) I started Danger in a Red Dress, but unlike you I had to give up at midnight and go to bed.

But I made it to page 335 and OMG Christina Dodd is one GREAT storyteller, I literally couldn't put this down, I was reading while I was cooking dinner.
