she writes, paranormal/fantasy romance, historical romance, YA  and contemporary plus she has a fabulous urban fantasy trilogy too.

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Season for Love (McCarthys of Gansett Island Series, #6)  I just finished the massive (796 p. on the ereader)

She has so many wonderful story lines here.  I'm surprised her editor didn't suggest they break this up into 2 or even 3 books.   That would have been fairly easy to do, given the way the story lines tend to fall into separate chapters.  It would have more amply financially rewarded Ms. Force for her writing...instead of packing all of this into one book of 796p.

I love this series and am anxiously awaiting #7 to see how the other story lines develop.

Wilder (Chosen Ones Series #5)  Hi Everyone - Sorry I haven't been around much lately, been very busy getting ready for the big move - 27 years in one house can have a few things piling up !!! I haven't been able to read too much, but right now I'm ready Christina Dodd's latest - Wilder. Good story, but I'm feeling like I missed something -  I keep checking to make sure that there wasn't a book that I missed. But the story is good. Happy Reading...

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Thank you!  I did go over and post how much I enjoyed Sweet Talk.

I'm still working my way through ALL SUMMER LONG.  It's not grabbing me as the earlier books about the Stryker bro. did.  For me, the characters of Charlie and Clay are just a bit "over the top."  I'm finding this title a disappointment so far.

Glad to help reader :smileyhappy:

right now I'm down under enjoying a Harlequin Special Edition November release

Marriage Under the Mistletoe

very sweet, gosh I love romance :smileyhappy:

especially after some of the gritty, intense novels I read I just really need that proven fact that there will be a Happy Ever After waiting for me at the end of a read.

then it's finishing my month long feature over at General Fiction

The Dispatcher  and believe me it doesn't get any grittier than this one.

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Good luck, Debbie. I'm "of a certain age" where I don't do "gritty/intense" anymore. I've seen too much of it in real life, I guess, to enjoy reading about it when I'm relaxing.

The Ugly Duchess  and I am only putting it down to post about it here.

Off to keep reading! (This is my Sunday treat, after finishing Sherrilyn Kenyon's Time Untime (Dark-Hunter Series #16)  this morning. The posters at our Facebook page had mixed feelings but I was caught up in it!)

Call Me Irresistible

I am currently reading Call Me Irresistable b/c really I wanted to read The Great Escape but not before I read the first book.  I guess I like to go in order as much as possible.

Melanie, I am also reading Desperate Duchesses.  Havent formed an early opinion as of yet but I am also only on the first few pages.
