Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

I think these are my favorite Susan Donovan books, with blurbs from her website since Add Product isn't working for me right now:

Charlotte Tasker has always been a good girl, so she married the most decent, reliable man she could find even though their love life was a bit on the predictable side. Thirteen years later, she's a widowed mom who runs her company, prepares three vegetarian meals a day for her children, and volunteers for just about every good deed in town. But no one knows that Charlotte has a secret weakness for squirt cheese, erotic poetry-and the mystery man she lost her virginity to in a reckless roadside tryst, moments before she got engaged.

Haven’t we all at least wondered about it? What would it be like to be a kept woman – your affections bought and paid for in exchange for a life of luxury? In my new novel THE KEPT WOMAN (why be subtle?) Samantha Monroe is a cash-strapped, single mom of three who finds herself in that exact situation.

I have read both books and have enjoy them both.

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

Hi Everyone - AnneB here - I finished Summer at Willow Lake - the first book in the Avalon series by Susan Wiggs. I'm really liking these books. I'm now reading Highlander Christmas by Janet Chapman. This is the first book of hers that I've read, and so far, I really like it. Happy Reading...

This is really good, and I'm thinking of framing the cover.

Hubba hubba, great cover. Is this what your husband looks like Becke, is that why you want to frame it. ;-)

I love my husband dearly, but if he looked like this you can bet I wouldn't be sitting at the computer right now!

Re: What BOOK are you reading now?

As I think I've mentioned, I already have a "chest" collection. The cover of INDISCREET has convinced me I need a back/arm collection, too. *sigh* I'm so shallow.

becke_davis, Don't be shallow. You just happen to like/love a great looking guy. Or should I say HOT guys. We are women and can appreciate a hot looking  guy. Even thought we are older, we can certainly admire a great looking guy.
