Hey guys! My H2H post on Call Me Irresistible is live! http://tinyurl.com/4b7nssr

While you're there, check out Marisa and Maria's take on the new Christine Feehan, Ruthless Game, and the latest Mary Balogh, A Secret Affair.

*gasp!* Is it out? I have it preordered - hurray, I'll probably get it tomorrow, unless the snow slows it down.

Re: Your Daily Heart-to-Heart

Hey everybody! You all know how much I absolutely loved Madeline Hunter's latest Rarest Blooms book, Dangerous in Diamonds. Well, I'm thrilled to say that Madeline has written a letter to us from the Duke of Castleford which is posted right now over at Heart-to-Heart. You can read it right here: http://tinyurl.com/3j38hrt.

While you're there, please leave a note to Madeline!

Melanie, the link isn't working for me. Well, it is, but all the archived threads are coming up with weird code all of a sudden. I hope this is temporary!

Re: Your Daily Heart-to-Heart

Maybe it's browser related - I'm using Google Chrome, which usually works. I'll switch to Mozilla Firefox, see if that makes a difference.

Re: Your Daily Heart-to-Heart

I do a historical romance round-up at H2H today:

http://bookclubs.barnesandnoble.com/t5/Heart-to-Heart-The-BN-Romance/ROMANTIC-READS-This-Week/ba-p/1...

I feel a little guilty about the hoard I’ve amassed, the mother lode of historical romances that make this October seem as hot as July. There are so many to choose from, I regret not implementing “A Book A Day” month at ROMANTIC READS. Who knew October, the home of Halloween, would bring us so many corsets and clinches?

I’m talking a historical-romance-palooza, people, and if you haven’t noticed all those covers depicting ball gowns and that subtle hint of skin that tells what’s on the inside pages, then I’m here to share five goodies that will take you out of 2011 and into the good ol’ romantic past.

A Bride Unveiled (Bridal Pleasures Series #2)  by Jillian Hunter: Violet Knowlton has never forgotten the connection she forged with Kit, a workhouse boy. But they were nearly children then and came from different worlds.Soon they were on paths that led them far from their innocent beginnings, but ten years later, when Violet is meant for another man, Kit comes storming back into her life.

Bond of Passion (Border Chronicles Series #6)  by Bertirce Small: I’ve become quite fond of Small’s Border Chronicles books. She weaves historical intrigue through the lives of regular folk, in this case a Scottish nobleman who agrees to marry a woman, Annabella Baird, in exchange for a coveted piece of land. We all know that women were treated as property back in the day, but the tale of a relationship rooted in business that flourishes with passion is irresistible!

And I had to choose only five for this post, people! There are dozens of historicals out there this month, so tell me here and at Romantic Reads:

What historical romances are you reading this October?
