Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

21 yr/old Need Book Suggestions ASAP

I am looking to order a few books online tonight and need some suggestions. I really want some long books. Around the same lengths as twilight and vampire diaries. I love juicy books. Already read twilight/vampire diaries/go ask alice/going to far and many many more. I need something with a lot going on. I am not 13 years old so i don't really want stories about middle school girls falling in love and smoking pot for the first time.
If you can help i really appreciate it!!

I'm 22 and I still read a lot of young adult books. Not quite sure what kind of books you like, but if you liked Twilight you might like these.

- Hush, hush

- Fallen

- Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side

- Shiver

These books are really good too

- Brightly Woven

- Perfect Chemistry

- Rules of Attraction

- The Time Traveler's Wife

Hope that helps!

Re: 21 yr/old Need Book Suggestions ASAP

  • Try Jodi Picoult if you haven't already- her stuff is really heavy but she is a great author
  • The Art of Racing in the Rain is such a great book! Not extremely long but trust me, it has a lot going on
  • books by Ellen Hopkins
  • Lovely Bones
  • Nickolas Sparks
  • The Good Thief (again not a long book but really good)
  • Gemma Doyle Trilogy
  • The Handbook for Lightning Surviors

and that's all i can really think for now. I'll probably come up with more stuff later

Oh just thought of another author: Kristin Hannah especially her book, Firefly Lane
