I think the Chronicles of Narina movies are better than the books.
I can't think of anything else because most of the time books are so much better than movies ![]()

New Moon was definitely better than the book, only because the book sucked.
Casting Taylor Lautner was smart, because that made us Team Edward and Team Newton people not hate it. And when I say 'team newton', I mean the team consisting of only me.

I didn't really like the Chronicles of Narnia movies. I think the books are much better. But you are entitled to your opinion.
lol. I'm sure you are not the only person on Team Newton. As for New Moon the movie being better than the book, I really don't agree with that. Even though the book is my least favorite in the series, it was better than the movie. The only thing that is better in the movie is Taylor Lautner. And what was your comment about Taylor Lautner supposed to mean?

I mean that I HATED Jacob Black. But really, it isn't so easy to hate Taylor Lautner- just look at him!

Haha I totally get you. Jacob as a character in the books was a complete and total ass. In the movie that is all overlooked due to the incredible hotness that is his abs.
And I have to agree with the Narnia comment. I do really like those movies and they do a really good job of following the books. I would have to say Lord of the Rings as well. I literally CANNOT read those books no matter how hard I try. I love the movies though. I can't really think of any amazing movies that outshone the books. Hmmm... maybe there's a reason for that. Though I am looking forward to Lovely Bones. Though I've yet to read the book yet (because my mom stole it from me -_- )

I've always thought that Holes was a better movie than the book.
And that's saying something, considering that most books are better than the movie.

I agree with what everyone's saying abotu Jacob in the book, he was so annoying and pushy. But in the movie, I loved him, still strictly team Edward though, and I think The Count of Monte Cristo the movie was just a little tiny bit better than the book. I am still totally in love in with the book though!!!

My substitute teacher last week was Michelle Pfeiffer's [Lamia in Stardust] cousin. He was really funny and said weird things like "Don't be mean jellybean" haha. Random, I know.

I think that the Notebook was a better movie. Just because I'm not a big fan of Nicholas Sparks. His writing is just so slow, and hard for me to get into, but the movie was amazing
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy spark

You got me runnin' baby,

OMG I LOVE THE COUNT OF MONTECRISTO! the movie at least. I tried reading the book but I was younger at the time.... I really need to try re-reading that......
I LOVE stardust! Fantastical movie. Now I want to watch it. I haven't read the book yet though. But I do adore Neil Gaiman.
I liked Blood and Chocolate the book. I haven't seen the movie only because one of my friends who's also read the book watched it and said it was horrible. I liked the fact that she didn't end up with the human. I thought it was a better ending.

The first time I saw teh count of Monte Cristo I was....7 OR 8 I think. I've seen it a couple more times after that and I do agree it's a wonderful movie, but I have yet to read the book.
I've seen Stardust but I didn't even know it was a book until this thread was posted.
