Best Book Series

If you need more than one book to keep you occupied than this is the spot for you . The books in this topic have to have more than 2 books in the series.  Example: The leviathan series.

(there are only two books out so far)

Re: Best Book Series

One of my favorite book series of late that no one seems to mention is the Fablehaven series.  It was such a whimsical adventure and the characters were so endearing.  I can't wait to read the next one, but I'm hoping to find them available on the NookColor soon, because I really don't have anymore room for books on my bookcase.  :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Best Book Series

Oh, I just thought of another great series: The Bartimaeus Trilogy.  These books were exciting, intricate, a little scary and rather unique in their perspective.  My dad recommended them to me and we rarely have the same taste in books, so I was hesitant to give them a try, but I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading them.  I quickly finished the three huge hardcovers, because it was so interesting, I just had to figure out what was going to happen next.  :robothappy:

Re: Best Book Series

I'm going to try posting my favorite book series again. Last night when I tried the text showed up blank. I'm hoping it will work this time.

Some of my favorite book series are:
The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith (First Book: Awakening)
Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent (First Book: My Soul To Take)
Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia & Margeret Stohl (First Book: Beautiful Creatures)
The Touch Series by Laurie Stolarz (First Book: Deadly Little Secrets)
The Chronicles Of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon (First Book:  Infinity. The second book, Invincible, comes out in March.)
Tiger Saga by Colleen Houck (First Book: Tiger's Curse. I just read this book and love it! The second one, Tiger's Quest comes out in June.)

Check them out! They are awesome books!

Re: Best Book Series

I've start the Magyk series. It was the free e-book on friday. I'm only on the first book but it is really good so far. Of coarse it can't rival the Hunger Games:smileyvery-happy:!!

I agree that they cannot compare to the Hunger Games series, but they're definitely good reads.  I've read almost the entire series to date.  My only complaint is that they get a little too detailed.  There is way too much information about the different spells, charms, locations, etc..  I would've enjoyed them more if the author had done a bit more self-editing, but oh well.  I am finishing Syren now, but I've stopped reading it, because I hate finishing a book when the next one isn't even out yet.  Darke is coming soon though, then I can feel free to finish it up haha.  :smileyvery-happy:
