Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Calling All Vampire Lovers

Yea, it's really awesome. I'm totally in love with Damon, lol^^. I wuld recommend the Vampire Diaries to anyone who likes vampires, romance (a girl trying to figure out who she loves between two brothers), action. There's a book by L.J Smith that's called Vampire Diaries, The Return: Nightfall and that one is suppose to be a starting of a triology, even though it sounds like it goes with the other books. A lot of people are getting confused because of that.

You would want The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and the Struggle

The Vampire Diaries

And the next one that goes with it, The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and Dark Reunion.

The Vampire Diaries

Re: Calling All Vampire Lovers

One of the best ones I've ever read would be Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey.  SO good!

And Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side sounds pretty cool, and also the main character has my name. That's a plus ^_^

Re: Calling All Vampire Lovers

Anne Rice is the best vampire writer, in my opinion. If you read her books, start with Interview With A Vampire. And Blue Bloods is good, but it's a little less vampire-y than some other series because it's kind of like Gossip Girl and vampires combined. The storylines were good, but the author makes a lot of fashion and designers references which I thought took away from the vampire plotline.
The persons of their world lived in an atmosphere of faint implications and pale delicacies, and the fact that he and she understood each other without a word seemed to the young man to bring them nearer than any explanation would have done.

Re: Calling All Vampire Lovers

Never heard of Anne Rice?!?!??!!? She is the vampire writier queen! (Bram Stoker is King!) Interview With The Vampire was Ah-Mazing! Don't expect ANYTHING like Twilight or the teen vampire series today. Her books aren't for the soft-hearted but still AH-Mazing!
