Let me just say, so I read the original trilogy about 2 years ago. I was scared to read City of Fallen Angels because I was worried it was going to be badddd. BUT OMG!! CoFA and CoLS are soooo good. They are, arguably, better than the original trilogy. There's so much more depth the stories, I think. CoLS was amazing. I'm scared that Simon is going to end up dying in the next book though![]()
there ain't no rest for the wicked.

CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was a little worried when i heard of the extended trilogy because i heard rumors that it was exclusively simon, with very little mention of jace and clary, et al. However, i would agree with you that this last set of books has really increased everything--the action, the romance, and the character development. i am so excited to read CoHF, but i dont want the story to end either.
and i think there may be a reason cassandra clare removed the mark of cain in the last book...and that worries me too, lol.
Do you read the infernal devices?

Spoilers!
I absolutely loved the book. I was sad though when Magnus and Alec broke up. I'm so worried they won't get back together, though I'm sure they will if that makes sense. xD I am EAGERLY awaiting CoHF. So many answers I NEED! Does anyone have any idea who Brother Zachariah could be???
And do you guys read the Infernal Devices?

I was thinking that... Maybe. But then I am adamantly hoping that the date would go as planned and he and the main lady in Infernal Devices stay on the same track... Its all wishful thinking.

When I first read the books in TID, I came across the quote about Will and Jem- Jem being the steady flame, Will the brighter burning star. But it wasn't until i saw a post with it on Cassandra Clare's Tumblr that it really resonated with me. I want Tessa to end up with Will, but there is a definite pull with Jem.
