Eragon by Christopher Paolini-Thoughts

I was thinking of reading this series next but have read mixed reviews & was just wondering what everyone on this board thought of the series.  Would you or would you not recommend it?

This series isn't for everybody, but I, personally, love it!  I love the characters, the action, and, most of all, the fantastic new world Paolini has created!  The last book in the series comes out in November, and I can't wait!  I definitely think everyone should give this series a try.

I bought this on my NookColor when it was on sale and I haven't been able to get into it.  I do have tons of books TBR though, so it might be good, but it was easy to put down and switch to something else for me.

I love this book series SO MUCH! ITS AMAZING! sometime in november I was lucky enough to meet the author in union square for the release of his 4th book and now i have most of them autographed which is awesome!
