Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: InkHeart

inkheart is so good and so is the rest of the series. inkspell is a little slow in the beginning but they are all worth your read.

yea i wanna see inkheart the movie too but the story line seems different from the book. i hope they didnt mess it up too much cause the book is so good.

have you ever read The Thief Lord??? it was written by the same author that wrote inkheart, cornelia funke. you should check it out.

Re: InkHeart

I like the series Inkheart, but I do not like how the movie includes all three books. I wish the movie would just go by book.

I love The Thief Lord..

I read it when I was really young and it is soooo good!

I always thought it would make a great movie. And I know they actually did make a movie about it but I havent seen it?

Re: InkHeart

I haven't seen the movie, but just incase, you should totally read the book first. Like Lord Of The Rings and Eragon. They ruined Eragon. But I loved Lord of the Rings

Re: InkHeart

I loved Inkheart! I also liked Inkspell and Inkdeath, but one of my favorite books is Thief Lord. It's such a good book. I might watch Inkheart and Thief Lord but my opinion is that the books are always better than movies, for example: Twiight, the actors weren't like the characters so much and the scenes weren't very good.

Cornelia Funke is my 4th favorite author. And I understand the reply about feeling what the characters are feeling.

I have that book too, "Inkspell" but I didn't finish reading it. It's boring, ... did I hear someone gasp? ;P

... but I'm gonna give it a try again sometime. :smileyhappy:

Re: InkHeart

Yeah I suggest you see the movie before you finish reading the book because the movie didn't even stick to the book's ending. It was an awful movie and to be honest I suggest that you don't see it. I loved the book very much though!

Re: InkHeart

:smileysurprised: Thanks for the info Jasmine. I don't like it either when the movie is different from the book. :smileysad:
