Diary of a Young Girl The Book that I am reading right now is Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl. This is an amazing story! It makes you understand what Jewish people had to do just to stay alive and what they did being trapped for years in just one place without being able to leave!

I have read many stories about Anne Frank and its amazing for what they had to go throw. One of the best world war 2 books I have ever read is Number of the Stars. I love that book. I first found out about it when I was in fifth grade and then in sixth grade my class and I read about it. Very good book I highly recommend it =)

The Holocaust is definitely a very sad but interesting time period. I have read a lot of books on this topic to. One of them that is very good but very sad is The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. This book gives you a perspective on how little German children knew about what was happening to their Jewish friends. The German parents hid so much from their children. I think the reason for that was that they didn't truly understand either....They knew they just had to do it for their country.
Also you should try
This book is from the perspective a German child as well.
