Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Percy Jackson?

Hey Lex i noticed too they didnt mention Thalia's tree....if they make the 2nd movie, they will probably have it show up& go on about Grover's quest, along with Percy's & the gang

& I pictured her with black hair too; i thought it was cool how she was Zues's modern gothic daughter (;

Re: Percy Jackson?

=D Yeah she is so cool and the reason I think I like her so much is because I can relate to her a lot. I was really happy when she joined the hunter too but sometimes I wish her and Luke had something (shrugs) they could have been something great if he didn't turn evil and she didn't join the hunter =)

Re: Percy Jackson?

Does anyone wonder what Thalia and Luke would be like if Luke didn't die and Thalia didn't join the hunt?

Re: Percy Jackson?

Yeah I kinda think that way sometimes but most of the times I think they would be more like Annabeth and Percy but a little better at fighting xD and more (hmm how can I say it) tough? idk but I think they would prob have killer hard working kids if they did haha Just my thought about it. I really do think Luke would probably be one of those tough hard to be nice fathers and idk maybe Thalia would be the nice protecting mom hmm??? maybe not xD

Re: Percy Jackson?

I've only read The 1st Percy Jackson book.....

Is the rest of the series just as good?
