Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Riddles!!!

A man lived on the twentienth floor of the apartment building. Each morning he rode the elevator down all twenty stories and left for work. When he returned from work he rides the elevator up ten floors but takes the stairs the remaining ten floors. Why?

There are four questions of value in life... What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same. Only love.-----Emily Dickinson

Re: Riddles!!!

I am as large and as small as I need to be.

There are many people on but are never cramped.

People talk on me from far away but seem close.

I am different to every person.

I never tire.

What am I?

Re: Riddles!!!

Give up yet? Just Kidding!

I've got another one:

A person pushes a wheelbarrow past a hotel than sighs. Why?

Feel free to ask any questions about it. This one is really hard!

(I'll give you a hint; Its a one word answer.)

Re: Riddles!!!

Here is a good one I found:

It cannot be seen it cannot be felt

Cannot be heard cannot be smelt

It lies behind stars and under hills

And empty holes it fills

It comes first follows after.

Ends life, Kills laughter

Well I'm not very good at riddles but I'll give them a try! For the one above is it a camputer or the internet?? I could be completely wrong. Then the one about you can not see and smelt it or what not is it some type of gas that can kill people?? And the one about the hotel I have no idea it is pretty hard! My answers are probably wrong but I wanted to give these cute little riddles a try! =)

Here are some riddles..

It flattens things, and without it, it flattens you It's in food It's in buildings It's in bridges too Is this too hard? or too soft for you?

A cowboy rode into town on Friday, stayed three days, and rode out again on Friday. How did he do that?

Paul’s height is six feet, he’s an assistant at a butcher’s shop, and wears size 9 shoes. What does he weigh?
