Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

So, What's Everyone Going To Read Over Christmas?

I'm just curious.

I'm gonna be reading Lisa Unger's Die For you, and Stephen King's Cell. Oh, and Eternal On The Water. :]

Oh, and hi, I'm Lexi. Not really new here, just been awhile since I've posted anything. :smileyvery-happy:

Re: So, What's Everyone Going To Read Over Christmas?

I would say I'll be reading the massive order of books I just got in the mail, but truthfully, It'll probablly be spent trying to finish The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas. Its one of my mom's favorite books and is 1462 pages long. Yaaaay...

No. Actually its pretty good as of page 91.

The Count of Monte Cristo

I was gonna read Eldest once. But the cover kinda drove me away...I don't like the dragons and such anymore. Let me know how good it is. I've had it recommeneded multiple times.

I'm thinking about buying that one too. It looks really good. Let me know if it's worth my money, or just a pick up at the library. :]

I heard Dan Brown's books are really good. I keep forgetting to pick one up though...I get too over-whelmed when it comes to books and forget what I went for and end up picking up something entirely different. :smileyvery-happy:

What's that one about?

Sounds like to me that one would be one for summer and all-nighters every night of the summer!

Re: So, What's Everyone Going To Read Over Christmas?

Supposedly about the hardships of the main character's life, and his adventures. Um, right now all I can tell is that People are out to get him, he's in love, and he is set up for a crime he wasn't a part of. I believe Napolean is going to be a big part of it.

Every year I read "The Legend of Holly Clause" by Brittney Ryan on the twenty-third and twenty-fourth. It's my tradition for five years now. Wonderful book. *loves*

I have to finish To Kill A Mockingbird for my English class and I am hoping to get through both City of Ashes and City of Glass before I go back to school.
