Th1rteen R3asons Why

This weekend I read Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher. Has anybody here read it?

It thought it was very good, even though I don't usually read books like that. The end was pretty hard to read for me, but I thought the message and overall story was interesting. I couldn't put it down!

Please tell me what you thought. I'd love to talk about it!

Re: Th1rteen R3asons Why

I just bought Thirteen reasons Why a few days ago,it is going to be the next book I read once I am done reading Hush,Hush. My friends that I work with have read it and absolutely loved it. They said it was kind of depressing, but totally worth the read. Do you agree?

Yes. I do think it was kind of depressing, but it was not as bad as I thought. I usually lean towards happier books, so this was kind of different for me to read. It was depressing, but in a good way. If that makes sense.haha. And once you read it, you have to tell me your opinion. I thought it was good, and gave the reader lots of things to think about. :smileyhappy:

Re: Th1rteen R3asons Why

I read the book like a month ago and i thought it was really good. I would find myself forgetting that the main character was dead and loose all hope but its life. I thought it did a good job catching peoples emotions. I wasn't entitely happy with the ending of the book but in a way i am... its a good book. =P

13 Reasons Why is about a girl who committed suicide and left tapes for the people who were involved in her story.

It was one of my favorite books.

I just got it for my birthday. I started it and literally could not put it down! It was so good even though it was quite depressing. It is quickly climbing the charts of my favorite books, and there are a lot.

Re: Th1rteen R3asons Why

I have tried to read Thirteen Reasons Why and I just couldnt finish it, after I was about 50 pages from the end I stopped because the book was just too depressing. I have to say it was a great book, very well written and easy to get into. But, for me I just thought it was too depressing to finish!

Re: Th1rteen R3asons Why

Okay, so I am a little over half way done with the book. I LOVE IT! I can totally understand what you mean by it is depressing, but in a good way. So far I have had to put the book down and just think after ever one of her stories. The writer did just an amazing job with this story.

The suspense is driving me crazy!  I really want to know why Clay is on the tapes. I bet it is sad and not monstrous. Clay is to nice... :smileysad:

Although, as I was saying so far I LOVE this book!:smileyvery-happy:
