Yeah I had a hard time getting into Shadowland also, i havent finished it yet. maybe eventually I'll go back to it.  I just finished the first 2 books of the Percy Jackson series, and next i hope to finish the series and also read North of Beautiful. i also need to read a historical fiction book for school.

haha happens to me all the time but mostly with movies like when I told everyone about the ending of Dear John haha that was not a good day. Let's just say people really wanted to see that movie and weren't to happy to find out what happened. Anyway I am now reading Hush, hush and I also am in a book club so yep it's going good.

haha yeah oops anyway I am reading Hush, hush and OMG it's so good I am already half way throw it and it's completely amazing. If you haven't heard of this book (you probably have) I would go to the book store right now and get it haha it's that good

my dad was all upset because he says books are stealing his daughter (he just needed someone to play rockband with haha)

haha i know! my dad likes that i read, but at the same time, i think he thinks they are the enemy for some reason haha

my mom though likes to read, though shes all into those adult romance novels, though she will read some YA i  tell her about

haha completely different with my parents. They both like to read but my mom only likes world war 2 books and people that have cancer??? and my dad likes old classics and crime books but when he's done with the book he doesnt like talking about it. Some they take me away from my books for no good reason. I think they think the books are like taking over my brain or something.

My parents read a lot to but it is totally wierd.....my dad reads books about wars and history while my mom reads very girly adult fiction and self-help books

yeah same with my sister minus the self-help books but it's kinda getting weird. I mean she never even liked reading until 2 maybe 3 weeks ago and now BAME! she is reading every day. idk why idk how idk what is wrong but all of a sudden she is book crazy and idk if I should be glad or mad. haha o well

my best friend hates reading, has always hated it, and she is kinda slow, because she tries to completely understand every sentence, & gets stressed about being perfect, & now she is slowly starting to read. It may be because its required, but its the most i have seen her read in years. Someone Like You she just read, and now she's reading Lightning Thief. Its really weird lol

& i feel the same way about her like you do your sister! Glad...or mad? but for me more like suspicious haha

my dad only reads real estate books, & stock market junk. I dont know how he reads the whole thing haha
