I have to read And Then There were None for school and I wanted to read a few others for myself:
Stephen King
Some Classics
The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo
left over sequels
And a few books which have been on my shelf forever but have never been touched.
What about you?

I haven't gotten to Bitterblue, yet, but Fire and Graceling were among my favorite reads last summer...

I've heard mixed reviews on Bitterblue, which makes me sad because I was really excited for it, but after reading Graceling I'll pretty much read anything Cashore writes. I've looked all over the internet to figure out what she's currently working on and couldn't find anything, but I'm excited for whatever it is nonetheless.

I got gifted The Gizless Days of Thomas Binder. It is a great sci-fi teen romance set in the near future.
So cool and so possible. It reminded me of Feed. It's a long short story. Very cool. The book it's from looks pretty wild, too, but it isn't sci-fi.

Hmmm, that's an interesting choice for a school to make -- it isn't one of those books where you're supposed to learn some kind of lesson if you read it (other than the obvious, of course: never attend a party alone on an isolated island where you hardly know your host -- duh!).
I liked it a million years ago when I first read it. It was originally called Ten Little Indians, like the poem hanging on the wall (which has a lot to do with the plot). I think my favorite Agatha Christie book is The ABC Murders, though.
Let us all know how you like it!
