Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

What book should I read?

I love to read book series like Harry Potter and the Twilight saga but, I want a book that i can't put down, it has romance that I wish I have and maybe a mystery. Here are some books I like

The Lovely Bones

The Summer I Turned Pretty

Speak

Shug

The P.L.A.I.N Janes ( i like it even though it's a graphic novel)

The Secret Life of Bees

My Sister's Keeper

The Tenth Circle

Down the Rabbit Hole

I think you should try Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta-it is a stand alone but has mystery, romance, & fantasy-i think it starts off a little confusing but is so good I wish it was part of a series.

Finnikin of the Rock

Some other great series/books are

The Mortal Instruments-Cassandra Clare

The Infernal Devices-Cassandra Clare

Unearthly-Cynthia Hand

Firelight-Sophie Jordan

Divergent-Veronica Roth

Darkest Powers -Kelly Armstrong

Hunger Games-Suzanne Collins

Hush Hush-Becca Fitzpatrick

Fallen-Lauren Kate

Hourglass-Myra McEnitre

Vampire Academy-Richelle Mead

Graceling & Fire- Kristen Cashore

All of these have romance some action some mystery some fantasy-but I def recommend all of them!  These are pretty much my favorites or just books that stand out to me the most

Re: What book should I read?

If you like romance series, The Luxe by Anna Godbersen is a must!  (It also has an element of mystery)

I also recommend

Maze Runner (series) by James Dashner

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Hex Hall (series) by Rachel Hawkins

Any of the series by Tamora Pierce

Once Upon A Time series by various authors (favorites of mine are Before Midnight, Night Dance, and Midnight Pearls) They're all fairytales re-told so you know you're gonna get good love stories, and most are really different takes so there's no telling what's going to happen!

Princess Of The Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George (a retelling of 12 dancing princesses, I couldn't put it down!)

Happy reading!  ; )

Re: What book should I read?

The series was really good! Second that! The author holds nothing back and it's one of the few books where you feel attached to the main character. The romance is good, too. But you're probably like, ugh, another zombie book??? Well, if you want a REALLY could twist on zombies, check out Rot and Ruin by Maberry. It blew my mind.

Re: What book should I read?

Kelley Armstrong's books are really good.  Try The Summoning first and if you like that just continue with the rest of the series.
