I also really enjoyed the Twilight series and just ordered the Kissed by and Angel trilogy. You might want to try:
The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare
Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, and Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr
The House of Night Series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
The Southern Vampire / Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris
Evermore (and soon to be released Blue Moon) by Alyson Noel
Evernight and Stargazer by Claudia Gray
There's a lot of books to read within that list, but they were all easy reads and I enjoyed them all quite a bit.

I am an avid teenage romance novel reader also, and I have enjoyed the following you may not have heard of:
Perfect Chemistry - Simone Elkeles (does a very good job of writing from both boy and girl point of view)
Impossible - Nancy Werlin (a little on the fantasy side but still very enjoyable)
Ophelia - Klein (a twist on Hamlet, and though sad for about 70 pages, still very good)
The Boyfriend List - E. Lockhart (cute and quirky, also in a series)
The Ugly Series - Scott Westerfeld (set in the future, and action packed, but still enough for a romantic junkie like me)
Hope I could help![]()
I also added the links to them so you don't have to search around forever![]()

Hey,
I love books so much and here are some of my top favorites (note that this is not in any sort of order):
- Look for me by Moonlight, by Mary Downing Hahn
- Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, by Beth Fataskey
- All four Twilight books, by Stephanie Meyer
- Another Faust, by Dani and Daniel Nayeri (I'm in the middle of this book, it's good so far).

Oh, I also love Sarah Dessen. All of her books are amazing.
I've heard city of bones and the morganville vampire books are very good, too.

Hi there:
I'd like to let you know about another young adult romance title, slightly different than the ones you listed...although I absolutely adore the Twilight series.
I wrote a book called Wrestling With Desire which follows two high school boys who fall in love and have to deal with the complications, fears, and ultimate rewards of being true to themselves.
Given the current issues around bullying gay kids, I think this is a great book fro the times.
You can find it at Featherweight Press (www.featherweightpublishing.com). It's available in eBook and will soon be out in paperback as well.

If you want a different type of romantic read, I'd recommend Empress of the World. The characters are really quirky and likeable. I enjoyed it!

My favorite that I keep recommending is Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. Unlike many books of late that are part of a long series, this story is complete between these two covers. The perspective alternates bewtween Dash & Lily and each of them has a unique voice and style. I love the humor, the surpises and having NYC as a backdrop in this book. I really think anyone would enjoy it and I'm glad I read it already so I can share my thoughts here. ![]()
