Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: books worth reading??

Hails!!!! You turd! Lucky little stinker.  Okay so here's what you should get.

I can't remember whether or not you've read The Study Series yet?  I thought you started them, but I'm not for sure.  Anyway there's another series by the same author.  The Glass series by Maria V. Snyder is set in the same world.  She also has a new YA fic book coming out called Inside Out so definitely pre-order that.  Also try The Dark Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks.  Absolutley fantastic.  You'll fall in love with the main character.  Seriously.  Lol.

uhm.... ok ok.  Other series.... OhOH!  The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima is fantastic and it's the first book in a new series.  Uhm.  I'm going to have to get back to you on this.  Now I have to go searching because I can't remember off the top of my head.

Re: books worth reading??

Innocense Shattered by Heather Koontz Sprouse is releasing tomorrow January 11th.  I was lucky and got a copy early and it is an excellent read.  Dont let a modern romeo and juliet fool you, its not a typical romance/drama...it is excellent a must read.  Also, excellent for teenagers.

I agree about this book. It is very short, but makes a big impact on you. You continue to think about it even after you have finished it. It pulls you in from the beginning and never lets go. I'm excited about this book because like twilight, it is something myself and my teen both enjoy! It gives kids a reason to renew an interest in the classics again.

Okay, here's a few great (if random) books that I've read recently:

1. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold (SUCH a good story, plus the movie is coming out this weekend)

2. WAKE by Lisa McMann (there's a sequel to this called FADE)

3. I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak

4. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (I love this author. He has a great writing style. =] )
