Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: hello all...

I feel like that sometimes.  I just wish I could take classes online.  Save me time not having to sit in on discussion during class for an hour and a half.  *rolls eyes*  I'm good at self teaching myself stuff.  As long as I get step by step directions for stuff like math I'm pretty ok.  Haha.  I wish I could just do art all day.  Then I'd be totally happy.  I think I'd have an awesome time at an "art" school.  Too bad such things don't exist around here.  :smileyhappy:

Re: hello all...

haha yea. taking art all day would be amazinggg.. :smileyhappy: im sosososo happy i can be in art this year, cus i couldnt take it last year :smileysad: but my art teacher is awesome, she is so completley random.. yesturday the class was silent, and we were all working on our projects, and she just blurts out "does anyone have any chocolate? i'll give you extra credit if its dark chocolate...." and she has the funny facial expressions.. idk she so funny tho! im glad i have her. some of my friends have this other teacher for art, and i guess she is really misreable.. how any misreable person would pick a carreer in art, and manage to suck the fun outtah it.. its beyond me really..

Re: hello all...

Haha.  My art teachers are awesome.  I've had both of them for classes as well as independent studies.  The art department just basially loves me.  Haha.  The older of the two is such a riot!  I'm actually going on a trip to Greece and Italy with her.  It's gonna be great.  :smileyvery-happy:
