Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: need a new book series

Ok First of all you have to read the Sookie Stackhouse Series!! I think they were better that twilight...Well almost and  i loved them so here they are

(They are in order)

1. Dead until Dark-Charlaine Harris

2. Living Dead in Dallas- (all have same author)

3.Club Dead

4.Dead to the World

5.Dead as a Doornail

6.definitely dead

7.All Together Dead

8. From Dead to Worse

9. (there is a ninth i just don't know the name of it.)

Someone already mentioned the House of the Night series. That was really good too. If your looking for something none vampire then heres some suggestions

The Dollanganger Series

1. Flowers in the Attic (V.C. Andrews)

2. Petals on the wind (same author 4 whole series)

3. If there Be Thorns

4. Seeds of Yesterday

5. Garden of Shadows (this one is the prelude to flowers in the attic. It tells about what happened before Cathy, Chris, and the twins were born. ITs sort of the grandmother's story)

I hope those help you out at least a little bit...Enjoy:smileyhappy:

Re: need a new book series

You should try the night world series by L.J. Smith. They are so good! They were my second series after twilight and they were almost equally

as good.

You could also do Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' den of shadows books, they are real page turners too.

Re: need a new book series

Mortal Instruments. (City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass)

Any book by L.J. Smith (Night World, Secret Circle, Vampire Diaries)

Wake by Lisa McMann, 2nd book is Fade. 3rd is soon to come.

Not a series but Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

Evernight is ok. I haven't read the 2nd Stargazer.

Evermore. Read this one pretty fast. 2nd one isn't out, Blue Moon.

I can't think of anything else right now.

I'm a book nerd.
I like making my friends into book nerds.
