It's so hard to choose just one!! I think all fantasy creatures are amazing in their own way, their legends are just as interesting and diverse as they are, let's take medusa for instance, a female monster with snakes for hair, one look at her eyes and you are suddenly stone. There's a whole greek myth dedicated to her. Then we've got something like vampires, very mainstream, sexy, strong, and mysterious. But their beginnings are not so humble, they originated with a bloodthirsty hungarian ruler by the name of Vlad Tepes, known as Vlad Dracul-a, or better yet, Vlad the Impaler...Every fantasy creature has its beginnings, and hopefully, they continue to be mainstream and wholeheartedly loved.
