I was at my local bookstore this evening and they had a big display of Nicholas Sparks' books. I'm sure many of you who are new to this author will have a hard time deciding which book of his to read next, with so many choices (yet again. . .).
So, I will look to our Nicholas Sparks fans for advice. Which are your favorites? What book would you recommend for our new Sparks fans to read next?

Hi, Becke,
For a reader who is new to Nicholas Sparks I would recommend The Notebook to start off with. That is my favorite, of course. A Bend in the Road is pretty good and also my other favorite is Nights in Rodanthe......I need to read that one again....before the movie comes out! Diane Lane and Richard Gere are going to be in that one so it should be really good.

Wow, now I'll have to get that book, because I'm sure I'll be seeing that movie! I didn't realize it was based on a Sparks book.

I can't wait until the movie! I loved the book. I have read it three times! Rodanthe is one of my favorite places on Hatteras Island.

New to Nicholas Sparks should read The Guardian. It made me cry the first few pages in to it. I'm a sucker for tear jerkers and Nicholas Sparks always provides a story that delivers just that.
