My first edition is still holding up great and I love it.

I have had no desire to upgrade (both of my sons have simple touch and while cool - I don't really NEED the new features not presently on my First Edition).  But this ... this has me seriously thinking.  Very cool.

Upgrading will eat into my book-buying budget.  I will have to restrain myself for a while (not that I don't have hundreds of books to read in my Nook library now).  This is the first new feature that has me seriously ready to upgrade.

This seriously has me looking to get it.  I do a LOT of reading to go to bed, and this looks perfect.  But, please B&N!, add back support for PDB files!  I have too many books from ereader.com to want to toss them!

Received the new Nook this week and I am already in love. The glow light is very adjustable and should fit most anyone's needs. Battery life is great even with the use of the glow light. I had a Kindle before this but made the switch for the built in light and I am very glad I did!

Just received my Nook with Glo light on Friday. I already love this product. I have had other Ereaders, but this one is the best. Love being able to read in sunlight or int he dark without adding an extra light. Way to go, Nook. Anyone looking for a great ereader, this one is the one.

Just picked up my Glow Light and love it! I have the Nook first edition as well, but the smaller/lighter size/weight, touch screen, and light...what  a keeper!

But... (isn't there always a "but"?) I have a concern that is not specific to the Glow Light but to ALL Nooks and the ebooks we keep on them....

Can't we PLEASE find a better way to organize our books? I have about 500 ebooks on my Nook. I spent HOURS creating shelves and then "shelving" my ebooks on my old Nook. Those shelves are specific to the old Nook and don't transfer.

In my opinion, B&N is really missing the boat by not offering a robust book sorting and cataloging option on my B&N account. I would be SO much more inclined to buy more ebooks if I could easily sort thru them and find what to read next. If these were done on my B&N account and NOT on my Nook, then I'd be MUCH more apt to buy another Nook down the road. My husband would be more apt to buy a Nook as well and add to our collective ebook stash, shelving his books as he saw fit, in a shared library.

B&N, you are really missing a marketing opportunity by not allowing serious readers like me a way to manage our ebook libraries. How about it?
