The Fate of the Galaxy is in Your Hands!
Since I grew up playing the Original Galaga and Space Invaders arcade games, this Galaga Special Edition app brought back some nostalgic memories of my child hood. The app has kept true to that 80s arcade feel that I remember so well. The user-interface, sound design and gameplay are very 80s—in a good way—and are well-integrated into a modern touchscreen device.
Galaga is an incredibly simple game, very easy to pick up and play, intuitive, has good thumping beats for the soundtrack and got progressively harder without frustrating me. Kids who love space and lasers will enjoy some intergalactic game play where they can do their part to save the world from aliens.
