To their neighbors and friends, the Lathams are a seemingly perfect family, but when faced with a surprising and horrific act of violence, the survivors must build a bridge between illusion and reality if they hope to face any prospect of a future.

Later in our interview with Anna, she said that “life is random and various and sometimes perilous.” Every Last One is a perfect example of just how true that statement is.

A stunning read that’s not to be missed.

This was a wonderful book of healing and love. I didn't want it to end.
