“Beautiful and haunting. Every page tore me apart—and I loved it.”

-Lauren Kate, bestselling author of Fallen

When her boyfriend is killed in an accident, Wren’s life is shattered—her first love is gone, and she’d do anything to bring him back. Unlike most teenagers, however, she actually has the power to change her circumstances, since she’s inherited paranormal abilities that allow her to bring Danny back to life.

Unfortunately Wren's perfect plan has a flaw—while Danny’s body is reanimated, the person she fell in love with has turned into a zombified shell. To complicate matters even further, Danny is now digging into the circumstances surrounding his death, and his actions could put Wren (and her family secret) in jeopardy.

Garvey’s delicate storytelling and compelling characters offer an emotional exploration of first love and loss, with a supernatural twist.

You can continue Wren’s captivating adventures in Glass Heart, the next book in Garvey’s series, available on NOOK now.

I'm having trouble downloading the book

Baste, I followed your directions and deleted all of the downloaded books from today and then went back and downloaded them again, but still they are not showing up on my Nook.   I even bought two books today and they did not download again.

Now what???

Thanks.

None of the books downloaded on my iPad either (10:15pm Central) and the closest B&N store is about 75 miles away. I love getting such a diverse selection of free books each week so hope you can get the problem fixed soon. Thanks!!

I was also unable to download either "Cold Kiss" or "Touching the Clouds."

Here's what worked for me:

  1. Open "Nook for PC" (or equalivalent) on your computer and go to "My Library."
  2. Allow the program to recognize the books in your online Library. Then download each book you want.
  3. Connect your nook (Nook Color in my case).
  4. When Nook for PC recognizes you nook, it will ask if you want to manage your device, select "Yes"
  5. The book(s) you've just downloaded should appear on the right side of the pop-up window. Select the book you want to sideload onto your Nook, then click the arrow button that points to the left.

That should do it. The books will appear without their distinctive covers as books from another, non-BN source often do, but will be otherwise fully functional.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to some of you, long day. Anyway, I am glad that my tips worked for some of you and hope that you will enjoy your books.  If my tips did not work for you, you should try following Steve_L he gave some great tips also. As for others when I said go to the shop, I did not intend for you to drive to your nearest B&N store. I meant that you needed to open the shop screen on your individual nooks.

Hermanboy, the only suggestion I have, with the tips I gave earlier; did you delete the titles from the main B&N nook library? If you did that, what I did was using my nook & not my computer that was the key for me (I have a NST) I went to the shop screen on my nook, typed the titles into the search box in the top right-hand corner. When I found the correct books I checked the price (making sure they were still free), then downloaded/bought the book. I did the searching, finding, buying, and downloading all on the shop screen of my nook. I hope this will help, once again sorry I did not answer you sooner.

Ah, that shop!  Thanks so much, Baste, for the helpful suggestions.  However, I didn't need to do that, after all --- every one of my books loaded this morning [Saturday] . . . everything worked like a charm when I tapped the Sync button.  Hope all Nook readers have just as much success downloading their books.  Happy Reading!

Yippee! My books downloaded with the usual thrilling speed now, thanks SO MUCH for fixing the problem. I adore my Nook Color and adore B&N for their diligence in fixing this.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions in this wonderful Nook community!

For those who have problems with the link, try holding down the CTRL key and click on link. If also having trouble downloading try same thing with the "DOWNLOAD NOW" link to download and that should work.

I've tried several times, but I can't get this week's book to download.  I don't usually have a problem, and I'm not having problems with my computer.
