“Beautiful and haunting. Every page tore me apart—and I loved it.”

-Lauren Kate, bestselling author of Fallen

When her boyfriend is killed in an accident, Wren’s life is shattered—her first love is gone, and she’d do anything to bring him back. Unlike most teenagers, however, she actually has the power to change her circumstances, since she’s inherited paranormal abilities that allow her to bring Danny back to life.

Unfortunately Wren's perfect plan has a flaw—while Danny’s body is reanimated, the person she fell in love with has turned into a zombified shell. To complicate matters even further, Danny is now digging into the circumstances surrounding his death, and his actions could put Wren (and her family secret) in jeopardy.

Garvey’s delicate storytelling and compelling characters offer an emotional exploration of first love and loss, with a supernatural twist.

You can continue Wren’s captivating adventures in Glass Heart, the next book in Garvey’s series, available on NOOK now.

Fellow FF friends, I noticed that I was not the only person having trouble getting my ff selections to upload to my nook. I thought if I waited, the problem would work itself out, however that was not the case, & since the ff book usually reverts, back to paid I have tried something else. Moreover, it worked; so here is what I did and I hope it works for you.

  1. Write down the name of books that made it the online library, but not the nook library.
  2. Delete the books from your B&N library that did not upload to your nook library. (Daunting I know but you need B&N to know that you have not already downloaded the titles.)
  3. Once the titles are no longer a part of your online library, grab your nook connect to the Wi-Fi and head to the shop. Search for your titles there make sure they are still free, then download theme on your nook.

If it works as it did on the two nst in my home, your books should download and go straight into your nook library. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I have been unable to download items as well today.  I'm assuming it's a problem with the server.  Hoping it's fixed soon.

The failure to download extends to the iPad also. I bought the Daily Find and I chose 3 free books from the FF lists.  The Nook app will not sync the library as of this time (9:43 pm ET). And the hint given earlier about delete, connect to wifi and go to the store does not work on an iPad as the Nook app does not have the "store" feature.  I'm a tad concerned at this point - particularly about the book I paid for!

Thanks to Spec, JfroJeff and the others who posted freebies today and each Friday.  I look forward to their suggestions every week.

Yesterday's books all downloaded just fine; all of my books from today will not download so I spoke to customer service about this [the nearest store is forty-plus miles, one way, so that's not really an option for me] . . . .

At any rate, according to the tech folks, if the book shows in your Barnes and Noble library, it is supposed to be "secure" and, presumably, available whenever they fix this problem.   Interestingly enough, they did not seem to understand that this problem was one many nook owners were facing and, therefore, probably not an issue with individual devices.  The standard "fix" offered by the techs seems to be to erase and derigister the nook [to return it to factory settings] and then to re-register.  The problem with this, from my perspective, is that all the shelves will be lost and the books will have to be re-shelved [and re-downloaded] after re-registering.  And since I have well over a thousand books on my nook, I would prefer to bypass that particular "fix" and so am simply waiting to see what develops . . . .
