When Chastity first arrives back in town, she’s determined to shed her image (forged thanks to her four older brothers) as ‘just one of the guys.’ It’s time for her to find love, and the first step is to get the eligible local bachelors to see her as more than just the fifth O’Neill ‘brother.’

She quickly finds common ground with a handsome doctor, but when an old flame, Trevor, re-enters the picture, she can’t keep the long-buried feelings from resurfacing. Will Trevor finally fall for the ‘new’ Chastity or is she better off starting fresh with the dashing M.D.?

Free Fridays Recommends

Each week, we ask our featured author to recommend a book or author that you may want to check out. Since authors are such passionate readers themselves, we thought you might like to find out what they love to read, too! Here’s what Kristan recommends:

One of the best books I read this past year was a YA for older teens—My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick. There were so many things I loved about the book—a completely relatable heroine in Samantha Reed, who's just on the cusp of starting to realize her own potential; a hero who's exactly the boy we all dreamed of as teenagers; and the thrill of first love between two realistic, lovely characters.

Samantha, who's starting her senior year of high school, feels a bit invisible as her mother embarks on a campaign to be reelected to the state senate...and starts dating her campaign manager. But Samantha's not a typical, angst-riddled teenager; she's mature, self-respecting and intelligent, as well as adorably dorky. I loved how the story unfolded and grew, taking on themes like acceptance, loyalty and responsibility in addition to the power of young love. A wonderful, uplifting and beautifully written book.

Finally figured out how to get here - yes!  I've wanted to thank all who have posted free book selections.  I truly look forward to every Friday even more since I found this site.  Now if I could only find enough time to read all of these freebies ;-)  Maybe, someday I can join you completely by adding some new selections.

Thanks to all who add to the regular Friday offering.  Today, especially to Butterflly13 and Rich_D who sent me on a trail that led to several very interesting-looking books.  You guys are the best!  This blog alone keeps me a loyal B&N Nookbook customer.

Thanks everyone!

Peops...I don't know why you complain when you are getting FREE BOOKS!!! Your fav genres will come up, so don't worry about it. If you don't like them, buy something you like! If you're anything like me you have MANY MORE books than you will ever read on your nook...sheesh.

I'm looking forward to the new read...but first I have to finish the one I'm reading!!!  I can't keep up!

thanks to all the people who take the time to post extras!  This week's book isn't my cup of tea either but I'm sure it is for lots of people.  Usually I check first thing Friday morning for the free book, but I'm thinking I may change my strategy since it appears I've been missing a lot of great books from other hard working people if I'd just wait!  I didn't find anything yesterday morning that I hadn't already read, but now (Saturday morning) I've found 6 or 7 that I'd like to try,

The great thing about a free Nook book is if I don't like it, I can just archive it and go on to the next one!:smileyhappy:

My biggest problem is I like too many genres! I download so many books I don't have time to read them all. A great problem to have! Thank you BN and everyone who posts freebies. I love this site.
