I recommend Dangerous Angels by Francesca Lia Block. This collection of “fairy tales”—following the lives of complex and wounded young people living in L.A.—is probably what inspired me, more than anything else, to write YA fiction. These are such unique stories told in such beautiful language; even Block’s sentences are works of art.

I do read the reviews that member write for books. I think that they are more helpful that the reviews from the publishers, they want to sell a book I want to enjoy a book. I try to sit down at least once a week and write a review on the books that I have, mainly the free books. I really vaule your opions.
