In this lighthearted novel,  Welshman, a retired veterinarian, presents an irresistible cast of characters—four-legged, winged, and human. The story centers on Prospect House Veterinary Hospital, and the new veterinarian Paul Mitchell. Not only does Mitchell encounter every type of animal misadventure in his professional life, but when the day ends, he returns home to his own motley menagerie of assorted pets. You’ll squeal with delight as your watch Mitchell navigate the always entertaining world of animal antics. And you can continue the laughs in Welshman’s brand new book, Pets on Parade.

Free Fridays Recommends

Each week, we ask our featured author to recommend a book or author that you may want to check out. Since authors are such passionate readers themselves, we thought you might like to find out what they love to read, too! Here’s what Malcolm recommends:

NOOK owners: go to shop and search for “Malcolm D. Welshman” to download his animal adventures.

If you like Christian fiction, run a search for 0.00 christian fiction. The first 30 or so look promising.

by peibkk on ‎08-31-2012 09:57 PM

could you please let me know if there were changes in Free Friday Blog?  Last week, I can't download the books through my computer and need to do it through Nook.  This week I have the same problem.  Tried to do it via Nook on Ipad but did not work either.  In the past, I can download from my computer/Ipad and refresh Nook when I want to read.  Thank you.

Drat, I tried to get The glory of Green and for the second time, I forgot to check the blog on Friday so am seeing it on Saturday--and on Saturday, the book is not free! Don't know if it was free on Friday or not, but I sure do want to get that title, I love the Green series!

I am having the same issue as peibkk, my computer 'download now' button is not responding. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I do enjoy the free selections...thanks everyone for your dedication.

Thank you all! I enjoy checking out the selections each week.  Often I download a few of the freebies and sometimes they introduce me to undiscovered authors.   I 'm really happy to discover a good fantasy author I had previously missed and like getting the first of a really good series, so I can purchase the remaining volumes.  Fantasy is my favorite genre, but I avidly read others as well.  Thank you all for the wonderful free reads and for the wonderful new reading paths you;ve opened for me.
