Ranger Wyatt Sheridan is called in when a teenage girl at the Beacon of Hope school, which was founded to help former teen prostitutes find a way off the streets, is found dead. He and the school’s director Kate Winslow team up to find out who might be trying to disrupt the school’s worthy mission.

Sheridan has a teenage daughter of his own, so he’s extra-determined to bring justice to the human traffickers who are preying on young girls. And when Kate is kidnapped, and Sheridan’s daughter is terrorized, nothing will stop the tenacious Ranger from putting an end to the evil.

I am looking forward to the Two-for-One Weekends.  It will be fun to see what selections are offered each week.

Thanks again and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with a good book!

by butterflly13 on ‎05-03-2013 07:42 AM

I see that Bossypants is one of the buy one get one! If you have not yet read this book you should really give it a try it was laugh out loud funny and who knows there is a good chance you may have something in common with her, I was suprised that I did! Have a wonderful weekend!

Great offerings this week for which I am both excited and grateful. My Nook is in my hands for hours every day!

by 26lettersAH on ‎05-03-2013 07:57 AM

I wish there was a way to participate in the new 2-for-1 --- the nearest physical store is almost 3 hours away!

by wvdeedee on ‎05-03-2013 08:05 AM

Two-For-One Weekends sounds great but needing to go to a store to purchase an e-book seems to defeat the purpose of owning a Nook.  This deal is also not a viable option to all Nook owners.  I live in WV - there is only one Barnes and Noble store in the entire state - and it's three hours away.  Checked the neighboring states as I live on the border but the nearest stores are still over two hours away. Hope those who live in/near large cities enjoy this deal. Sorry - just needed to vent this.

Love my Nook, Free Fridays and all the additional books posted by others!

by AKCareBear on ‎05-03-2013 08:09 AM

I can not wait to read some of these New Selections and the two for one weekends sound promising

Thank you everyone who takes the time to post books yhou are all amazing!!!!!

by butterflly13 on ‎05-03-2013 08:11 AM

to wvdeedee I also understand this and have for most of my life lived in small towns where there were only private owned bookstores.  So on one this really stinks I wish all these dang coupons they emailed once in a while would be towards a nook purchase.  On the other hand I can see why they would want to make someone go into a store I find the pull of books to strong and find myself roaming the shelves looking at authors unknownen to me and then loking them up on the nook.

Thank You!!! :cathappy:

I like the idea behind bogo, but like others, I live far from a BN. On the brighter side, I picked up a few freebies today that I can't wait to dive into! So maybe the pros outweigh the cons of the bogo. I am thinking of purchasing "The Hit" by Baldacci, so with the freebies I got this morning... well, I think i can be a winner!

Have a great weekend all!!!!!!!

by SRMerritt on ‎05-03-2013 08:25 AM

I don't understand why the 2 for 1 aren't available online.  I don't live near a Barnes & Noble store either!

by GracieMae on ‎05-03-2013 08:27 AM

I forgot to add - Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to list free books! You know who your are...and we soooooooo appreciate your efforts!

by PH03N1X on ‎05-03-2013 08:28 AM

It's interesting to see the different books for the bogo free deals. I don't have the issue of not having a store close, but I don't drive and hubby is gone before the store opens and usually doesn't get home til the store closes :smileysad: I do hope others are able to enjoy it. Thank you for the FF selection and to those that post other free offers. Love being able to look through and find new authors to read!
