All of Vee Bell’s friends and family think she has narcolepsy, but what they don’t know is that when they think she’s asleep, she’s actually  sliding into someone else’s identity. Like any teenager, she doesn’t want her odd secret to get out, lest she become a social outcast.

But when Vee slides into the mind of her sister’s friend Sophie right as she’s being murdered, Vee’s formerly harmless gift becomes a burden. The town thinks that Sophie’s death was a suicide, but Vee can’t reveal the truth without also exposing her strange paranormal powers. And who would believe her anyway? Instead, she sets out to find a more terrestrial way to solve the crime before the murderer strikes again.

The story of Vee Bell continues in the riveting sequel to Slide: Imposter.

Hysteria by Megan Miranda is an edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller with touching, heartfelt moments and a delicious love interest. What a page-turner!

When I go to download, Slide shows a price of NaN, then shows $9.99.  Anyone else having this problem?

I just love Free Fridays! Thanks spec for the comics. My grandson grabs my Nook as soon as he sees me and the Snoopy comics are a blessing! I am thinking of giving my tablet to him and getting the upgrade for Grandma so I can read while he is reading. My nook is now 30% childrens books, I love reading to my grandbabies!

First at all, many thanks to all those who posted recommendations last week for "Flesh and Bone."   I totally agree with you----I finished it last night and it was great!!!!!  I look forward to going back and reading the first one and then continuing with the series.

Also, to wonsue:  I downloaded "Slide" from my Nook Tablet and did not encounter any issues.

Happy reading everyone!!!:smileyhappy:

Looks interesting!  I'm reading one from a couple weeks back (Sanctus) and can't put it down.  Free Fridays has been a great way for me to find new authors.

Thanks to everyone for their contributions this week.  With the high heat and humidity here on the east coast this week my Nook has gotten quite a work out!
