"A richly imagined world. Readers will enjoy the mind-bending fun of puzzling together small details."

Una Fairchild is a devoted reader, escaping her less-than-ideal life by losing herself in fairytales. So when she wakes up to find herself ‘written in’ to a sweeping fairytale, she’s initially excited for the adventures ahead. Her new world is populated by her favorite fictional characters, and Una’s delighted to learn about their world. But the plot of Una’s story soon takes a dangerous turn, and she must band together with her newfound friends to make sure they all live happily ever after.

Storybound is a wonderful book for instilling a passion for reading and storytelling in young readers, so make sure you share today’s Free Fridays selection with your favorite little NOOK readers. They’ll be so enthralled with Una’s journey, they’ll want to jump right into her next adventure in the pages of Story’s End, available now on NOOK.

As a kid, I would have loved to step into a book, which even now as an adult sounds great. Thank you for this and other offers.

Great Free Friday selection and great sale!  So many great books!  I am going to have to restrain myself but I'm definitely picking up The Girls of the Atomic City, The Accursed, Divergent/Insurgent, and Lauren Oliver's Delirium trilogy (I noticed Wimpy Kid books in there so if you have a middle-grade reader that's definitely a great deal).

And if anyone is contemplating joining in the Literature by Women group to read The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton the NOOKbook is also included in the sale.  Just a little temptation.... :smileyhappy:

Every Friday I check this blog and hope that maybe, just maybe this will be the week we get a nonfiction book. And it never is...the free app is the only thing that's keeping me come back now.

(not only that, I'm super disappointed in that sale- 21 histoy book? 61 nonfiction books? and all of two graphic novels.../sigh)

Thanks for the kid's book.  I look forward to reading it with the kids for whom I provide before-school care.  It's fun to have one that will appeal to a wide age range.

Thanks to B&N and all who post free books. I've read (and in many cases really liked) lots of books I would never have discovered without you guys!
