When shy Grace begins classes at her new school, the usual teenage concerns of fitting in and finding new friends top her list. That is until a minotaur appears, which quickly relegates her more pedestrian high school fears to the back seat. Things go from weird to completely unbelievable when a girl who looks exactly like Grace appears and begins battling the monster.

In this mythology-based adventure, Grace soon finds out that she actually has identical triplet sisters from whom she was separated at birth. The sisters are descendants of Medusa, and now that they’ve been re-united, they must leave their old lives behind to fulfill their monster-slaying destiny.

Sweet Venom is, “Part Percy Jackson, part Beverly Hills 90210—with an acknowledged debt to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” (VOYA)

See where the triplets’ adventures take them next, in Sweet Shadows, the captivating follow-up to Sweet Venom.

Free Fridays Recommends

Each week, we ask our featured author to recommend a book or author that you may want to check out. Since authors are such passionate readers themselves, we thought you might like to find out what they love to read, too! Here’s what Tera recommends:

NOOK owners: go to shop and search for “Tera Lynn Childs” to download her contemporary mythological adventures.

Thanks everyone for your posts.  Love Free Fridays!  Not sure if this is the place for this or not, but I'm sure someone will let me know if its not.

A few weeks ago, the Free Friday selection was Cold Granite by Stuart Macbride, a British Police/Crime Drama.  I've already read this and enjoyed it very much. Cold Granite is the first in a series.  This week, B & N is offering the second and third in the series (Dying Light and Broken Skin) for 0.99 each.  Not free, but close enough for me.  Just thought someone else might like to know.  Have a great weekend and Happy Reading!

Not the book for me, but I'm looking forward to several free christmas books that I've picked up the last two weeks. They always add to that wonderful holiday feeling! Does anyone know the process of how the ff books are decided? I've always been curious.

Not the kind of book for me. But spec has one book on his list that looks promising. So I'm not leaving empty handed :smileyhappy:

Sorry I didn't get to  post any freebies today but I have been glued to the TV listening to the horrendous news of that school massacre 30 miles from me.

I will try to post some later on so keep checking back.

Thanks to everyone for their time looking and posting.
