Free Fridays

Categories: Free Fridays

Anna DeStefano’s complex novel relies on a similar framework of dream theory and questions of identity that made Inception such an irresistible film. In Dark Legacy, sisters Maddie and Sarah share a unique psychic gift that puts them at great danger from a covert government agency called Trinity. The agency has kept the sisters apart for ten years, intent on harnessing their shared powers. But when their dual-consciousness is restored, the sisters find that there’s a new, dangerous element that wasn’t there before. DeStefano’s novel is an insightful psychological thriller of the first order.

You can continue the adventures of these powerfully gifted sisters in the just-released sequel, Secret Legacy.

Free Fridays Recommends

This week, we’re introducing a new element to Free Fridays. Each Friday, we’ll ask our featured author to recommend a book or author that you may want to check out. Since authors are such passionate readers themselves, we thought you might like to find out what they love to read, too! Here’s what Anna DeStefano recommends:

“I'm obsessed with Michio Kaku at the moment, while I research the fringe science behind the metaphysics and parapsychology in my psychic fantasies. I highly recommend all of Kaku's backlist, starting with Physics of the Impossible. I just bought his Physics of the Future, too, and am halfway through Parallel Worlds. Amazing stuff you want to believe can be real now!

NOOK owners: go to shop and search for “Anna DeStefano” to download her psychological thrillers.

Very cool, I really like the new Free Friday recommendation...great idea!!

I've had the Free Friday book for a while and I think I will really enjoy reading this one.  I might consider it after I finish reading the last 2 books in a 5 book series, sooooo many books sooooo little time!!

How exciting!

Thanks, Jeremy, for selecting Dark Legacy for your Free Friday spotlight.

I'm thrilled with the chance to connect new readers with my psychic thriller series! There's a little bit of something for everyone in my "hybrid" novels--whether you dig sci-fi/fantasy, psychological thrilllers, high action psychic and metaphysical mysteries, or paranormal romance.

Let me know if you have any questions. And once you get the chance to read your free Nook download, be sure to let me know what you think either in the reviews or my blog, where I talk weekly about the dream theories and Psychic Realm behind these unique stories...

Did I do something wrong? I can't find the Jacqueline Frank book as a freebie. I only see it as a 7.99 book. Have already read Dark Legacy - good book. Thanks for the multiple choices this week Jeremy!

I  own the classic Nook, which I LOVE. The Mickey Mantle book was the only one mentioned in my nook's daily blog and I was very disappointed that it won't work on my device. I wouldn't have known about the other two freebies if not for the postings here, so thank you, everyone!
