Next on my list is Hell Is Empty by Craig Johnson. I've been a fan of the Sheriff Walt Longmire series for years. Craig Johnson displays a wry wit and a deep humanity in his tales. His broad cast of characters feel like old friends. His plots are rich and complex and always keep me guessing. My only wish is that Johnson write faster.
