Free Fridays

Categories: Free Fridays

When Roy Vines married his second wife Rosalind, he paid a high price—forgoing his part of the family fortune, and severing ties with his parents and twin brother Mont. But when Rosalind falls ill, and he desperately needs money, Roy must return hat-in-hand to his hometown. The plot grows more intense when Roy’s son from his first marriage reappears and accuses him of abandoning his original family to chase after Rosalind.

The author excels at building a believable and sympathetic family facing everyday challenges that many readers will find familiar.

Jean Reynolds Page's upcoming family drama, Safe Within, is available for pre-order now.

Thanks once again for Free Friday!

I HIGHLY recommend City of Thieves! Fabulous read. If you have any connection to that time or that part of the world, even more compelling.

I am in the middle of the disaster zone from Tuesday's Texas Tornados.  I am one of the lucky ones with only minor damage, but still being in the middle of all of this can bring you so far down.  I am so thankful to have Free Fridays today as a way to get back on a normal track.  Thank you for so many wonderful for selections from so many people.

As if Fridays aren't wonderful in and of themselves, I have free books to look forward to! I have read a wider variety of authors than ever before. Love it:smileyvery-happy:

Thank  you for Free Fridays and all the extras.

I love Free Fridays! Don't always get the book if it doesn't look quite my speed, but I have gotten many that are out of my usual reading comfort zone and seriously enjoyed them. And really look forward to seeing what's up each Friday. Thank you B&N, and thank you Jeremy!

And an extra thank you this week to Spec! Your list of extra freebies was excellent - I found four that I'm planning to download during my lunch break. Keep up the good work!

I really appreciate Barnes & Noble's Free Fridays, and special thanks to spec for the extras list.

That being said, I've noticed a dearth of science fiction and fantasy offerings of late. I'm not saying we're entitled or anything -- what we get is what we get, of course, and still appreciative (Indeed, I have used Free Fridays as part of my sales pitch in encouraging friends to buy Nooks :smileyhappy:) -- just that I'd like to see a few. A broader range of offerings appeals to more readers, thus getting more readership and publicity for the authors involved in the promotion.

Dear Jeremy & Spec - Thanks so much for all the great offering, and to the members who share their finds, too.  Thanks, Betty_23 for the Francis Chan tips.  Happy Passover, and Happy Easter to all, may your faith deepen in strength and gratitude!

Some weeks offer a treasure trove - like this week and other weeks I don't want a one! Good thing - I'd have to buy all that extra memory; and I still haven't read the ones I got 3 weeks ago. Thank you for finding treasures - and ones everyone might find something to like.
