I love the inside-baseball details of a good police procedural. I also love strong characters who continue to evolve and reveal themselves to us, years after we first met them. Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series is about as good as they come. I've read them all, but The Black Echo was the beginning.

Some really great finds in there:thanks so much! I might have enough reading from Free Fridays on my nook to read for years, if I didn't have others always piled high, too! lol NOT complaining about having too many books to read, though!
