Free Fridays

So while I can’t say that the elite foxhunting community was on my radar before picking up today’s Free Friday’s selection, The Hunt, I was immediately enthralled by author Jan Neuharth’s nuanced depiction of the sport. Middleburg, Virginia, plays host to a rarefied world of foxhunting—a sport that calls on old-world traditions and relies on big money benefactors to support it. But when an attractive, wealthy lawyer and expert horseman—Doug Cummings—is framed for the murder of a former lover, the sport is turned upside down. Soon the insular and competitive community starts pointing fingers, and Cummings the hunter becomes the hunted.

You’ll learn even more about this unique and fascinating world in the next two titles in the Hunt Country Suspense series, Chase and The Kill, available now.

Free Fridays Recommends

Each week, we ask our featured author to recommend a book or author that you may want to check out. Since authors are such passionate readers themselves, we thought you might like to find out what they love to read, too! Here’s what Jan Neuharth recommends:

“I just devoured The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. I love a book that keeps me reading into the wee hours of the morning—and these did! I guarantee you’ll want to download the next book in the trilogy as soon as you finish the first. Unputdownable!”

NOOK owners: go to shop and search for “Jan Neuharth” to download her series.

Again with the spamming "non-reviews."

Can you please clean this up - and keep an eye on the reviews of future Free Friday books?
