Free Fridays!

Categories: Free Fridays

Born into the Drow (Dark Elf) world of Menzoberranzan, Drizzt – driven by his own moral code -- turns his back on the evil ways of his clan and strikes out to conquer the metaphorical demons of his past and the real demons that threaten his future.

Take Note: R.A. Salvatore will be joining us the week of November 1st in our Fantasy and Science Fiction board. Stop buy to chat with him.

NOOK owners: go to shop, and search “R.A. Salvatore” to download more titles in the Legend of Drizzt series. .

My son has read R.A. Salvatore's books for many years and has always told me that I would enjoy them too. It usually doesn't take me this long to read a book he has suggested to me. He is happy I will be reading it! Thank you for offering this book on Free Friday's!

As an avid R.A. Salvatore fan (with several signed books by him) I'm beyond thrilled that this is a free book this week!  Good job!

This seems like it will be a fantastic introduction to a new genre & author for me. Thanks!!!!!

The best thing about Free Fridays is that they are typically books that I would never otherwise have been exposed to and I have yet to be dissapointed.  Just in time for a rainy and maybe snowy weekend in the Denver area :smileyhappy:  As always, much appreciated, Paul!

Drizzt!  Love it!  Thanks, Paul!

(Incidentally, it's listed in the Nook library as just "Forgotten Realms" instead of "Homeland" which will be very annoying if we get the other books in that series.)

I'll look into that, lkmiller. Thanks for pointing it out.

SWEET! I really want to read this one!

When Free Fridays first started I was downloading everything. I've gotten a bit more selective, since I have all these books I just know I'll never get around to reading.  I still love it and appreciate the nice selection you offer.  How about some Free non-fiction though?

A BIG thanks for Free Fridays!  This has been a big book buying week for me, including two of the three offerings from yesterday's Thrifty Thursday.  I just seem to read so much faster on my NOOK.

Wow! I love Free Fridays!!! Just yesterday I bought the 3 books offered for under 10.00, and now I get another for free! I'm soo glad I bought a Nook rather than the "k." I gotta tell you, you got me reading all kinds of genres I've never read and author's I've never heard about also! I love it. Question: I noticed ALL these books are listed on Nook as "Forgotten Realms." How do you distinguish one book from another on the Nook? (I didn't open up the books, so maybe it says in there, but by simply browsing, all you see are the 'same title's). That can be VERY confusing! This sounds like a wonderful series and I can definitely see myself buying more from this series, I just want to make sure I won't download a book I already bought. Thank you Nook and B&N for these great books and for introducing me to mand new authors I would probably have never gotten around to! Nook Rules! And I'm sure to always tell everyone how great the Nook and B&N folks are!!! Thank you!!!
