Fifty Shades of Grey is more than a book series—it’s a worldwide phenomenon. Like any tremendously successful pop culture icon, Shades has spawned its own cottage industry of parody and satire.

Here are three of my favorites so far:

This on-the-nose parody is available for just $1.99 for a limited time.

Young, arrogant tycoon Earl Grey seduces the naïve coed Anna Steal with his overpowering good looks and staggering amounts of money, but will she be able to get past his fifty shames, including his love of BDSM (Bards, Dragons, Sorcery, and Magick)? Or will his dark secrets and constant smirking drive her over the edge?

This cookbook/parody hybrid features over 50 deviously delicious recipes. As the old saying goes, trussing the chicken is the second best thing you can do with a spool of butcher’s twine.

Pre-order your copy now, and you’ll have it just in time for your holiday feasts.

Nothing says romance like a dusty tool shed, right?

Colin Grey’s life was happy and simple, until the day everything changed—the day his wife read that book. Suddenly, he was thrust headfirst into a dark, illicit world of pleasure and pain. This is what happens when a tide of tempestuous, erotic desire invades man’s last place of privacy: his backyard shed.

NOOK owners: go to shop and search by author name to enjoy some good-natured Fifty Shades-inspired laughs.

The parodies have to be better than the real books.  Fifty Shades of Grey was so awful that I barely could get myself half way through the second book and then just gave up.  I couldn't do it anymore.  The characters were terrible and seriously one dimensional.  No sexy in that.  Twilight meets the red light district.  Blech.
